The Daily Numbers are a combination of 3 numbers that can be played for as little as 50¢ a combination. The numbers can be played either straight, or as a box. Playing numbers straight means that to win, the numbers you played have to be in the exact order as the winning numbers. Playing a numbers “box” means that as long as the numbers are the same it doesn’t matter if the winning numbers and the numbers you have played are in the same, or a different, order. The advantage of playing your numbers “straight” is that if you win, the cash prize is always much higher than when the numbers are played in a “box.” The advantage of playing a box combination is that you will have higher odds of winning, although the cash prize is of lesser value. The Daily Numbers are drawn twice a day, midday and evening.
Midday games can be played until 12:20 pm and evening games can be played until 7:30 pm.
Win 4
Win 4, is similar to the Daily Numbers except that you are playing a combination of 4 numbers.Like the Daily Numbers, they can be played straight, or as a box and can cost as little as 0.50¢ a combination. Win 4 numbers are also drawn twice a day, midday and evening.
Take 5
Playing Take 5 involves selecting 5 numbers from 1 through 39, and filling in your chosen squares as instructed on the playcard. Or you can save time by choosing Quick Pick and letting the computer randomly select the numbers for you.The prizes are based on how many of the numbers you chose appear as winning numbers. You get a prize if you match 2 or more of the numbers. The more numbers you match, the higher the prize.
